Without insurance, there may be no way to recoup any losses, costs or expenses incurred. I may also be exposed to financial losses. I don't want that!

- the cost of my trip if I must cancel,

- the unknown costs of trip interruption and travel delay,

- additional single supplement cost if I choose to still travel if my traveling companion cancels,

- out of city, state, country or province medical care expenses.

Even the best planned trips can be impacted by the unexpected.  A vacation isn’t as big an investment as your car or your home, but it’s still a lot of money.  As a part of your vacation plans, you may have purchased airfare, accommodations, excursions or other activities. Most of it is paid for entirely in advance. Isn’t all this value worth insuring?

Unforeseeable events could throw a wrench in your travel plans and cost you your vacation investment and more.  Here we provide another opportunity for you to learn about insurance and possibly purchase a plan if you think it is right for you.  If you’re wondering “Should I buy travel insurance”.  Please read below.

Reasons to Purchase Travel Insurance:
Most travelers recognize the need to protect their trip investment. As part of our customer services, we recommend that all travelers purchase some form of travel insurance. Each policy will be different. Please read the insurance details before you purchase your insurance.  The coverage you choose may or may not cover the following.

  • Reimbursement for cancellation penalties (which can be 100% of your investment) in the event of an unforeseeable illness, injury or death of you, your travel companion or a family member.
  • Reimbursement for cancellation penalties if you are called for jury duty, your home is damaged due to fire, windstorm, flood or vandalism or military leave cancelled.
  • Health insurance coverage while traveling outside of the USA. (Many health insurance companies limit or do not provide coverage outside of the USA)
  • Reimbursement for unused portion of your trip if it is interrupted.
  • Medical evacuation/repatriation expenses to an appropriate medical facility or back home in the event of a serious illness or injury while traveling.
  • 24-hour help line for any travel emergency, such as medical, lost tickets, lost passports, and other travel documents.

 Purchase Insurance:

You have approximately 14 days after your initial deposit to purchase insurance directly from It’s 4 U Travels, LLC.

If it is past your 14 day window and you would like to  purchase insurance on your own, you may purchase insurance from our partner, Allianz Insurance using the links in at the top of the page.

*Note: You have been prompted to accept or deny travel insurance each time you have made an online payment.

Please review each plan and feel free to give the Allianz agents a call at  1-866-884-3556 for insurance assistance.

***Note:
We are not insurance agents. Even though there are many travel insurance companies that may meet your insurance needs, we  suggest that Allianz may be a good fit for your travel insurance.

We are not licensed to give you extensive guidance on any insurance products. If you have detailed questions, you must call Allianz Insurance and speak with an insurance agent directly.

We will not be able to release your final documents until you have accepted or denied insurance at some time prior to your final payment.

In order to process final documents, please ensure that you accept or deny insurance prior to your final payment.

Do I need a Passport?

You may travel with a Passport or your birth certificate AND a valid government issued id. Please read the additional information below for more information.

It is recommended everyone get a Passport, but U.S. citizens are only required to show proof of citizenship (such as an original or certified copy of a birth certificate) and a government-issued photo ID (such as a driver’s license).

How to apply for a passport video:

Carnival’s ID requirements

Proper travel documentation is required at embarkation and throughout the cruise. Even though a guest has completed registration using Online Check-in, it is still the responsibility of the guest to present the required travel documents at the time of embarkation.

Any guest without proper documents will not be allowed to board the vessel and no refund of the cruise fare will be issued. Carnival assumes no responsibility for advising guests of proper travel documentation.

Read more on Carnival’s website here: —->Carnival ID requirements

CRUISE TRAVEL FOR U.S CITIZENS

Carnival highly recommends that all guests travel with a passport (valid for at least six months beyond completion of travel-unless otherwise noted differently). This will enhance the debarkation experience as delays may be expected upon return to the United States for those without one.
Additionally, this will enable guests to fly from the U.S. to meet their ship at a foreign port should they miss their scheduled port of embarkation and allow guests who must disembark the ship before their cruise ends due to an emergency to fly back to the U.S without significant delays and complications.

ALL guests are required to carry proof of citizenship such as a birth certificate OR a valid, unexpired U.S passport OR a WHTI-Compliant Document AND proof of identification (a non-expired government-issued photo ID for all guests 16 years of age or older).

Long Form Birth Certificate and Photo Identification
A non-expired Government-Issued Photo I.D is required of all guests 16 years of age and older.

The following ID types are acceptable:

Driver’s License
Driver’s Permit
School/Student I.D (acceptable for guests 16/17/18 years of age)
Government-Issued identification card (city/state/federal)
